WHITE TRAY - BLUE OR RED-GOLD DETAIL

Hand lacquered & etched wooden tray. This technique came originally from Central Asia and was adopted by the Mughals, art-loving Emperors who ruled undivided India for centuries. The tradition has nearly died out and is now only done by a few families in Pakistan. Sourced directly from the artisan families.

Use them to serve drinks or keep jewellery or bits and bobs on. They are so decorative some people hang them on the wall.
